It might be hard to find them in the program. But DMA09, the Direct Marketing Association’s fall conference, offers several sessions of interest to B2B marketers.
For starters, there’s “B2B Lead Generation: Reaching the Exec-Level Decision Maker.” (A pertinent topic: Edith Roman Associates developed its BRAD/BEN postal/email database precisely to meet that challenge.) It is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 20, at 11:15 a.m.
Then there’s the presentation by Russell Kern, founder of the Kern Organization: “Deliver Stronger B2B Demand Generation Results: 8 Secrets Revealed.” (Monday, Oct. 19, 3 p.m.) We’ve never attended a session of Russell’s without hearing several usable ideas.
We also recommend sessions like “How Microsoft Increased Revenue Through Integrated Channel Marketing” (Tuesday, Oct. 20, 11:15 a.m.) and “The Strategic and Tactical Benefits of Business Segmentation” (Tuesday, Oct. 20, at 2 p.m.)
Those are only some of the reasons to attend DMA09. There are also some broader sessions, like “Leveraging Analytics to Guide Your Multi-Channel Marketing Strategy” (Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2 p.m.), for which credits will be awarded in the DMA’s professional certification program.
But here’s the best news of all: That you can apply whatever you learn at the conference—on the spot. Want to segment your b2b marketing list, find new prospects, profile your customers, find an email marketing list? Drop by the infoGroup pavilion, booth 2123, and talk with an Edith Roman Account Exectuive.
